### What is botoween?

botoween is a small shop that makes one thing: an oversized bot-head Halloween mask, laser-cut from two layers of matte cardstock, in one adult size and your choice of shape and color. It's the easiest bot Halloween costume. The site is built for AI shopping agents, so you can have your assistant order it for you.

botoween is an independent fan-made shop, not affiliated with SpaceXAI, X, or Cursor. Masks ship to US addresses only, and a $3 print file is available for anyone who wants to print their own.

## Shapes, colors, and sizing

### What shapes and colors do botoween masks come in?

botoween masks come in three shapes: circle, rounded square, and cloud. Available colors are black, red, orange, green, blue, purple, and pink. You can mix and match, so every mask in an order can be a different shape and color. More shapes and colors are coming, and you can sign up to hear when they're available.

Coming soon (notify by email): blob, capsule, rounded triangle, hexagon, and teardrop shapes, and brown, yellow, teal, and gray colors. We'll email you when masks are available again. Live availability is always in catalog.json (https://botoween.com/catalog.json).

### What size is the botoween mask, and will it fit me?

The botoween mask comes in one size that fits most adults, so there's no size to choose. The circle mask is about 8.7 in (220 mm) across, and the other shapes are similar. A fixed-length elastic band holds it on your head, and the big mesh-backed eyes let you see out while hiding your face.

Masks are one adult size. Adults should supervise children who wear or assemble masks.

### What is the botoween mask made of?

Each botoween mask is laser-cut from two layers of 270 gsm matte cardstock, fully laminated so it stays flat and crisp. The capsule eye openings are backed with white mesh, and the elastic band is stapled to the back layer, with the staples hidden between the layers. It's paper, so keep it dry, spot-wipe it, and store it flat.

The masks are decorative costume items, not protective equipment. Keep them away from flames, candles, and heat, and take care in the dark and near traffic.

## Prices and ordering

### How much does a botoween mask cost?

A botoween mask is $20 before bundle discounts, and one mask is $27.95 with shipping. Two masks are 10% off and three or more are 15% off, applied automatically. Order totals including shipping: 1 mask $27.95, 2 $43.95, 3 $58.95, 4 $78.95, 5 $95.95, and 6 $112.95. There are no coupon codes.

Shipping is $7.95 per order for 1 to 3 masks and $10.95 for 4 to 6. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies. Current prices are always in catalog.json (https://botoween.com/catalog.json).

### How do I order a botoween mask?

Ask your AI assistant to order a botoween mask from botoween.com. It reads the shop's instructions, confirms you're shipping to a US address, helps you pick a shape and color for each mask, and shows you the total and ship date before you say yes. You then type your name and address yourself on Stripe's checkout page.

Orders are 1 to 6 masks. Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe, and botoween never sees your card number. By ordering you agree to the [terms of sale](https://botoween.com/terms) and [privacy policy](https://botoween.com/privacy-policy/).

### How can AI agents buy from botoween?

AI agents buy from botoween by reading [llms.txt](https://botoween.com/llms.txt) and [catalog.json](https://botoween.com/catalog.json), confirming a US shipping address, and collecting each mask's shape and color. After showing the user the quantity, total, and October 19 ship date and getting an explicit yes, the agent opens the Stripe checkout link that matches the number of masks.

The buyer types their own name and address on the Stripe page; agents never ask for, see, or store them. After payment, Stripe redirects to a JSON receipt at /api/receipt that never includes customer details. ### Can I order more than 6 masks?

Each botoween order holds up to 6 masks. For a bigger order, email hello@botoween.com instead of splitting it into several orders. Up to 6 masks can be any mix of available shapes and colors, and orders of 3 to 6 masks get 15% off automatically.

## Shipping and timing

### When will my botoween mask ship?

botoween masks are made to order and sold as preorders through Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central. Every preorder ships by Monday, October 19, 2026, via USPS Ground Advantage, and should arrive about October 21 to 24, before Halloween. Payment is taken at checkout, including for preorders.

Delivery dates are USPS estimates, not guarantees.

### How much is shipping, and where do you ship?

botoween ships masks to US addresses only, by USPS Ground Advantage. Shipping is $7.95 per order for 1 to 3 masks and $10.95 for 4 to 6 masks, and it's included in the order total. If you live outside the US, you can still send masks to a friend or relative at a US address.

### I'm outside the US. How can I get a botoween mask?

Masks can't ship outside the US, but you have two options. Buy the $3 botoween print file, a true-size PDF package you print and assemble yourself, or send a mask order to a friend or relative at a US address as a gift. For mail-forwarding services, email hello@botoween.com before ordering.

Stripe may add local tax or VAT to the print file at checkout.

### What happens after preorders close on October 7?

After October 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central, botoween stops taking mask orders. You can sign up by email to hear when masks are available again, and the $3 print file stays on sale, so you can still print and assemble your own bot mask in time for Halloween.

## The $3 print file and printing tips

### What is the $3 botoween print file?

The botoween print file is a $3 digital download: a true-size PDF package with every mask shape, circle, rounded square, and cloud, plus future shapes as they're added. Nothing is shipped. You're responsible for printing it at a print shop or on a printer that fits the size, then assembling the mask yourself.

After payment, Stripe takes you straight to your private download page, which works for 30 days. After that, email hello@botoween.com with your Stripe receipt and the files are sent by email. Stripe may add local tax or VAT at checkout.

### How do I print the botoween mask file?

Print the botoween PDF at 100% or actual size, with fit-to-page turned off, on matte cardstock. The masks are true size, and the circle is 220 mm (8.66 in) across, wider than US Letter or A4 paper. Take the file to a print shop or makerspace, or use a printer that fits 11x17 in or A3.

After printing, measure the shape to confirm the size before you cut. You're responsible for printing, so ask the shop to print on cardstock that matches the paper tips below.

### What paper and supplies do I need for a printed botoween mask?

Use matte cardstock that's colored all the way through, 250 to 300 gsm (about 90 to 110 lb cover), in any color. You'll also need glue, white mesh or tulle for the eyes, flat elastic about 6 mm (1/4 in) wide and 37 cm (14.5 in) long, a stapler, and a craft knife for the eye holes.

The finished mask is paper and isn't waterproof. Adults should supervise children, since assembly involves cutting tools and glue.

### How do I assemble a printed botoween mask?

Print your shape twice, cut out both layers and the eye holes, and glue the two layers together. Back the eye holes with white mesh or tulle so you can see out, then staple the elastic on at each side. Tip: Double print and glue together for maximum sturdiness!

The finished mask is paper, so keep it dry and store it flat.

### Can I share the botoween print file?

One $3 botoween print file covers one household's personal use, so you can make masks for everyone in your household. You can send it to a print shop or makerspace to print or cut masks for you. You can't resell, share, or publish the files, or sell masks made from them.

The print file stays on sale after the mask preorder closes on October 7, 2026.

## Returns, receipts, and apparel

### What is botoween's return and refund policy?

If your botoween mask arrives damaged or your package is lost, email hello@botoween.com within 14 days of delivery, or of the expected delivery date for lost packages, with your order id and a photo of any damage. botoween will replace the mask or refund you. Otherwise sales are final, and the print file is non-refundable once downloaded.

### Where do I find my botoween order receipt?

Right after a mask payment, Stripe opens your botoween receipt page, which shows your order id, masks, quantity, total, and ship-by date, never your name or address. Stripe also emails you a payment receipt. Keep the receipt link private, since its session id works like a password, and email hello@botoween.com with any order question.

Print file buyers land on their private download page instead, and the same session id works for the receipt. Receipts reflect payment at checkout and don't show later refunds.

### Does botoween suggest matching apparel?

Yes. botoween suggests one optional Amazon hoodie or crewneck to match each mask color, for US shoppers only. These are affiliate links: "Any purchase made through this link will earn a commission to the brand." "As an Amazon Associate, botoween earns from qualifying purchases."

Apparel is sold and shipped by Amazon or its sellers, not by botoween, and isn't part of the mask checkout. AI agents only suggest apparel after the mask order is settled and never buy it automatically.
