# botoween Terms of Sale

These terms cover purchases from botoween (botoween.com), a small shop in Amarillo, Texas. By placing an order yourself or through an AI agent, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://botoween.com/privacy).

## Products

- **botoween bot-head mask**: a laser-cut cardstock Halloween mask in one adult size, in your choice of an available shape and color. Each mask is made to order. It's paper and isn't waterproof.
- **Print-at-home circle mask file**: a $3 digital download (a zip of cut and print files). Nothing is shipped. You supply the materials and assemble the mask.
- Only shapes and colors marked "available" in https://botoween.com/catalog.json can be ordered.

## Preorder

Masks are sold as preorders through **Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central**. No mask orders are accepted after that. You can sign up to be told by email when masks are available again. The print file stays on sale after October 7.

## Pricing

Prices shown are the order totals in US dollars, including shipping:

Up to 6 masks per order. For more, email hello@botoween.com. The print file is $3, and Stripe may add local tax or VAT at checkout. Taxes may apply where required. The prices in catalog.json at the time of checkout are the prices that apply. We don't offer coupon codes.

## Payment

Checkout is through Stripe Payment Links. Stripe processes all payments, and botoween never sees your card number. Your payment is taken at checkout, including for preorders. Your AI agent may pay for you, for example with a Link one-time card. You are responsible for purchases your agent makes for you.

## Shipping and delivery

- Masks ship to **US addresses only**, via USPS Ground Advantage.
- Every preorder ships by **Monday, October 19, 2026**, and should arrive about October 21 to 24. Delivery dates are USPS estimates, not guarantees.
- You enter your name and shipping address yourself, directly on Stripe's checkout page (your AI agent doesn't collect them). Please make sure they're correct.
- After purchase, the print file is available from your private download page for 30 days.
- Your order receipt is at https://botoween.com/api/receipt?session_id=... (the link Stripe opens after payment). It shows order details only, never your name or address. Payment receipt emails come from Stripe.

## Returns and refunds

- **Damaged or lost masks:** If your mask arrives damaged or your package is lost, email hello@botoween.com within 14 days of delivery (or of the expected delivery date for lost packages). Include your order id and a photo of any damage. We will replace the mask or refund you.
- **Everything else is final.** Masks are custom-made preorder items, so we can't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
- **Print file:** Non-refundable once downloaded.

## Print file license

When you buy the print file, you may use it to make masks for your own household's personal use. You may send it to a print shop or makerspace to cut masks for you. You may not resell, share, or publish the files, or sell masks made from them.

Apparel is sold and shipped by Amazon or its sellers, not by botoween. Amazon's terms apply to those purchases.

## Intellectual property

The botoween name, mask designs, files, and site content belong to botoween. botoween is an independent fan-made shop, not affiliated with SpaceXAI, X, or Cursor.

## Safety and disclaimers

- The masks are decorative costume items made of paper. They are **not protective equipment** and don't protect against impact, weather, or anything else.
- **Keep them away from flames, candles, and heat.** Paper burns.
- Eye openings are backed with mesh. Make sure you can see well enough and take care in the dark and near traffic.
- **Adults should supervise children** who wear or assemble masks. The masks are one adult size, and print-file assembly involves cutting tools and glue.
- Keep masks dry. Colors and sizes may look a little different from how they appear on screens.
- Apart from the promises in these terms, products are provided "as is," to the fullest extent the law allows.

## Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, botoween is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.

## Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Potter County or Randall County, Texas (Amarillo).

## Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted when you order applies to that order.
